Where is Groundworks BJJ located?We're located inside Citizen Heights Church at 4100 River Rd NW, just behind the Target at the intersection of Wisconsin Ave & River Rd. If you're coming by car put 4110 River Rd NW in your GPS to be directed to the parking lot. We have free parking on-site.

What time are classes?Adult Basics Mon - Thurs 5:30pm - 6:30pm Adult All-Levels Mon - Thurs 6:30pm - 8pm Fri 6:30pm Sat 10am - 11:30am Kids Tues, Thurs 4:15pm - 5pm Sat 9am - 9:45am

How much does it cost?We offer a FREE intro class, which is a semi-private lesson with a black belt instructor. Adult memberships are $199/month Kids memberships are $169/month We also offer discounted rates for Military, Health Care Workers, Law Enforcement, and American University Students. All of our memberships are month-to-month, with no long term contract, so you can cancel at anytime.

How do I get started?Submit the form above or text us at (202) 949-6950 to schedule an intro class. During your intro class you will learn the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, how training Jiu-Jitsu works, and whether it's something you want to pursue.

Does Groundworks BJJ offer beginner classes?Our intro class is designed specifically for absolute beginners... and it's free! By the end of it, you will understand what training Jiu-Jitsu is like and you'll know whether or not it's right for you. Our adult fundamentals classes are shorter and geared toward newer students, but students of any belt rank are welcome to attend.

What should I wear to my intro class?Please wear comfortable athletic clothing without any zippers or buttons. Also, please bring a pair of flips flops/sandals and a water bottle.
